About

Grayson Evans

This blog is a place I can store articles from ER magazine, papers, book chapters, videos, etc. that are easily available for others to access and perhaps enjoy. They include articles about radio and electronic related topics, as well as subjects related to the CEDIA business (Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association).

I have an extensive background in education, creating and delivering classroom and online courses, as well as producing over 15 full length DVD based technical courses.  Twice honored with “Top 10 Educator of the Year” Award from the prominent industry organization CEDIA.  I also founded the first Home Automation manufacturing company, Archinetics Inc.

I now work part time as a consultant, teacher, and flight instructor.

Aviation

CFII, AGI, IGI.
I have created and deliver private ground school and instrument ground school course at Treasure Coast Flight Training in Stuart FL. I am working to get at least the private pilot course online.

Amateur Radio

KJ7UM – I love to design and build thermatron equipment. I am the author of Hollow-State Design, a book all about thermatrons (vacuum tubes to those ignorant of new terminology). While I did attend a few years in the Electrical Engineering Dept. at Ga. Tech., all of my electronic engineering knowledge was self taught.
